Gov. George Pataki visited Buffalo on May 3 to announce $25 million in funding for New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) projects involving UB and its research partners. The visit was Pataki’s second in three days to announce research funding for UB.

UB to hold 155th commencement
Some 6,000 students are candidates to receive degrees during UB’s 155th general commencement ceremony, to be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in Alumni Arena on the North Campus, and during 13 other ceremonies tomorrow through Sunday and on May 18.
