Architecture exhibit
Exhibit titled "Canadian Architecture," sponsored by the School of Architecture and Planning, will be on display through Nov. 26 in the James Dyett Gallery, 335 Hayes Hall, South Campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Censorship explored
"Burning Issues: The Heated Debate Over Censorship," a traveling exhibit created by the Free Library of Philadelphia, is on display in Lockwood Library and the Law Library beginning Nov. 1 and running through Dec. 20. A basic introduction to some of the most visible censorship controversies in contemporary America, the exhibit explores book banning, record labeling, pornography issues, art censorship, film editing and Internet filtering. 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Thurs-day, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday.

My Dear Mr. Wright
"My Dear Mr. Wright: Manu-scripts, Photographs and Archi-tectural Drawings from the Frank Lloyd Wright-Darwin Martin Collection" is on exhibit through Oct. 31 in the Univer-sity Archives, 420 Capen Hall, North Campus. Hours are

Peter Halley Project
"The Peter Halley Project," a series of temporary public art projects designed to engage the university community in a dialogue about contemporary art and issues, is on display in the Center for the Arts and at various sites throughout the North Campus through July 1998. Sculpture by Lisa Hein
An exhibition of elegant moving sculptures by American artist Lisa Hein is on display through Nov. 7 in the UB Art Gallery's second floor exhibition room in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

Social Photography Documentation
"Recent Exposures" by Renee Ziegler portrays a typical day and night in the life of Chippewa Street. Exhibit is on display on the first floor of the Undergraduate Library, Capen Hall, North Campus, through Nov. 7.

Student Work Exposed
"Xpose, UB Art Students Define Themselves," a collection of work by UB art students, will be on display through Nov. 14 in the Art Department Gallery, Center for the Arts on the North Campus. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

Work by Lara Schnitger
Work by Dutch artist Lara Schnitger is on exhibit through Nov. 7 in the UB Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. Form and balance are addressed through transitive, very non-traditional materials - plastic, latex balloons, foam rubber. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

Recent changes in legislation have reopened restrictions regarding transfer of retirement systems, and members who were eligible to transfer between public retirement systems in New York State and who did not may now be eligible for a retroactive transfer to or from any of the New York City retirement systems.
