Architecture exhibit
"Inside the Large-Small House," an exhibit by William W. Wurster sponsored by the School of Architecture and Planning, will be on display through Oct. 17 in the James Dyett Gallery, 335 Hayes Hall, South Campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

My Dear Mr. Wright
"My Dear Mr. Wright: Manuscripts, Photographs and Architectural Drawings from the Frank Lloyd Wright-Darwin Martin Collection" is on exhibit through Oct. 31 in the University Archives, 420 Capen Hall, North Campus. Peter Halley Project
"The Peter Halley Project," a series of temporary public art projects designed to engage the university community in a dialogue about contemporary art and issues, is on display in the Center for the Arts and at various sites throughout the North Campus through July 1998. Sculpture by Lisa Hein
An exhibition of elegant moving sculptures by American artist Lisa Hein opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 25 in the UB Art Gallery's second floor exhibition room in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. The show continues through Nov. 7. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays.

A collection of photos by Susan Dobson, winner of UB's "Crossing Borders" competition, will open Wednesday, Oct. 1, and continue through Oct. 17 in the Art Department Gallery, Room B45, Center for the Arts. Career Planning and Placement hours expanded
The Office of Career Planning and Job Placement has expanded its hours. The office now is open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays. The new hours will be in effect throughout the fall semester.

Educational Grants, Fellowships available for 1998-99
The American Association of University Women Educational Foundation seeks qualified women applicants for its 1998-99 fellowships and grants. Information is available on the AAUW Web site (www.aauw.org) or by calling 741-3964.

Internship available
A part-time paid internship in com-munications/public relations is available in the Office of Development Com-munications. Management applications due
School of Management applications, which are due on or before Oct. 1, are available outside the undergraduate management program office, 206 Jacobs, North Campus. To apply, students must submit the application, a copy of his/her DARS report and a cover letter explaining any unusual circum-stances. A general information session for applicants needing additional assistance will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 in 312 Jacobs.

Toastmasters meetings
UB Toastmasters, an organization dedicated to helping people develop their public-speaking and presentation skills, meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in 317 Student Union, North Campus.
