Your UB Police are accepting applications for our Spring 2024 intern program.

About the University Police Internship Program

The UB Police Internship Program is very dynamic and offers college students some of the best experience and training available. UBPD exposes its student interns to a vast array of areas within the Police Department. Students receive hands-on experience in the areas of patrol techniques, criminal investigations, identification and records procedures, and victim assistance.

Interns observe, but they train and work as well.

The internship program will run through the Spring semester. Interns generally meet one evening a week for instruction and training. In addition to the weekly meetings, interns participate in ride alongs with Officers and communication training with Dispatchers.
