"The Long Trail Out, a 25-minute documentary film, appeals to a wide and diverse audience, it works across generations and has the capacity to change minds and opinions as it takes the viewer on a very personal journey of coming out.  The struggles faced during a life of hiding, the decision to come out and the physical challenges faced while climbing mountains make for a powerful and compelling story.  The film’s message will educate both young and old, gay and straight, on the importance of being proud of who you are."
