UB to host First Annual Symposium on Transportation Informatics

TransInfo, one of the leading transportation research centers in the United States supporting the Internet of Things (IoT) big data revolution and the only Tier 1 University Transportation Center in the nation that specializes in transportation informatics, is hosting its inaugural event Big Data Analytics Transforming Transportation Operations, Management and Safety August 13th & 14th in Buffalo, NY.

Distinguished speakers, including Barry Einsig from Cisco's Vertical Solutions Group, Michael Pack from the University of Maryland CATT Lab,and Ram Pendyala, PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology join transportation practitioners, academics, policy makers, and industry to share their perspectives on research and innovation, in addition to current practices, challenges, and needs. 

Symposium attendees should expect to establish innovative networks across disciplines that generate new ideas to further support the use of analytics to improve decision making in transportation.
