The goal of this workshop is to understand how the findings from translational science and clinical research performed by the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School faculty are incorporated into clinical practice guidelines to improve the long-term health and wellness of the WNY community.

The process by which the knowledge gained from translational, clinical, and outcomes research is synthesized into specific recommendations for patient care will be explained. Such guidelines are then used to change clinical practice and inform advocacy and governmental groups as well as the general public.
