The goal of the workshop is to introduce participants to the role of the entrepreneur – that is, an individual with a background in the basic or clinical sciences whose work has commercial potential. The process of commercializing scientific findings and discovery can be time consuming, challenging and expensive, but the rewards can be very satisfying. This presentation will provide insight and guidance for scientists interested in learning how to commercialize their scientific breakthroughs.
