The UBMD Department of Emergency Medicine is hosting a local private screening of the independent film "Do No Harm" at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences
The film is about the alarming rate of medical student and physician suicide and the factors contributing to this epidemic. Unfortunately this reality is too often left unaddressed or swept away given the taboo nature of the topic. Too many of us have been touched by this epidemic. Burnout is real and suicide is preventable.
You are invited to break through this taboo and start the discussion. Let’s come together and get this conversation out in the open so we are more likely to support each other. A panel discussion will follow the film, and refreshments will be served. Please share the invitation with those you think would benefit from being a part of this.
