Members of the UB community and general public gathered on Sept.
23 to celebrate the official grand reopening of Hayes Hall, the
iconic home of the university’s School of Architecture and
Planning. The hall underwent a $44 million renovation that began in
2010 and concluded earlier this year.

monitors, video recording studios with editing suites, and a
café are among the many additions made to UB’s Oscar
A. Silverman Library. The 45,000-square-foot space has transformed
into a vibrant, state-of-the-art, intellectual hub for the campus
as the inaugural project of UB’s Heart of the Campus
