Climate change is one of the most pervasive challenges of our time and recent spikes in extreme weather events (such as wildfires, floods, and tropical storms) have made policy makers and researchers concerned about how climate will impact the economy. This webinar will delve into the responses of distinct stakeholders, such as corporate directors and bankers, to the complexities of climate change. Specifically, the focus will be on their reactions to climate-driven natural disasters and the rising sea levels.

About Feng (Jack) Jiang
Feng (Jack) Jiang earned his PhD in finance from the University of Iowa in 2012. Jiang joined the faculty at UB in 2013, where he is an associate professor of finance and Dean’s Fellow in the School of Management. Jiang's main research interests lie in corporate finance, behavior finance, and social/climate finance. He has published extensively in top finance journals and received numerous awards for research excellence.
