UB Alumni Association

Every graduate of UB* is a member of the UB Alumni Association, our alumni-powered global network. The association promotes connections among UB alumni and helps link alumni to the university and current students.

Together, we help UB take its place among America’s great public universities. The UB Alumni Association, a volunteer-led international organization, fosters UB pride, spirit and traditions. Professionals in the Alumni Engagement office staff our services and programs.

*UB Alumni Association membership also includes School of Management Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership CORE graduates, former medical residents, fellows, postdoctoral associates and select program certificate holders.  

Notice of Special Meeting of Voting Members of UB Alumni Association, Inc.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Voting Members of UB Alumni Association, Inc. (“UBAA”) has been called for the purpose of reviewing and acting upon (i) a proposed Plan of Merger of UB Law Alumni Association (“LAA”) with and into UBAA (the “Merger”), and (ii) a proposed Agreement of Unification by and among UBAA and each of the following unincorporated alumni associations affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo: (a) the State University of New York at Buffalo Dental Alumni Association; (b) the School of Management Alumni Association, University at Buffalo; (c) the Graduate School of Education Alumni Association; (d) the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Medical Alumni Association; and (e) The University at Buffalo Engineering and Applied Sciences Alumni Association.

The meeting will take place in-person on June 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the University at Buffalo, 10 Capen Hall, Buffalo, NY 14260, or any adjournment thereof.

Each of the Merger and Agreement of Unification shall be effective after all necessary approvals have been obtained and required filings made, whereupon the members of each of the aforementioned alumni associations will become members of UBAA, the surviving corporation, and as such surviving corporation, UBAA, shall assume all assets and liabilities of the aforementioned alumni associations, and UBAA’s existing by-laws, certificate of incorporation, and Board shall continue in force with such changes described in the Plan of Merger and Agreement of Unification.
