About the Conference

Group standing together.

The events of 2020 represent a turning point in our society. The challenges we faced will be solved by our next generation of leaders, forward thinkers and researchers. With intention, the University at Buffalo Undergraduate Research Conference will center conversations around big topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation and social justice. Conference attendees will discuss multidisciplinary approaches to discovery and the importance and challenges of communicating science in a changing world. This year, the University at Buffalo will present an exciting new format with pre-conference events designed to inspire, entertain and educate.

All undergraduate student researchers are welcome, including (but not limited to) those from McNair, SSS, LSAMP and CSTEP programs.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to:

  • Present faculty-supervised research.
  • Participate in a series of pre-conference workshops.
  • Foster conversation around shared interests.
  • Network with your peers and current graduate students from your field of study.
  • Attend a UB Graduate School information program and meet with program faculty, staff and students.
  • Engage with inspirational speakers and panels in a personal setting.
A program for everybody.

UB has 300+ graduate and professional programs to choose from. Find the graduate program that is right for you!
