Computers focus of June in Buffalo. “Music and Computers” is the theme of this year’s edition of June in Buffalo, the annual festival and conference dedicated to emerging composers.

Helping teens manage money. More than 130 teachers from Western New York high schools are now using a special Web-based curriculum to help their students develop personal finance skills, thanks to outreach efforts by the School of Management and M&T Bank.

Manuel to open “Bridge” lectures. Warde J. Manuel, director of athletics, will open the 2008 Bridge Lecture Series, the annual summer lecture series sponsored by the Newman Centers at UB.
