UB CARES. Making a difference. More than 180 members of the UB community participated in Day of Caring activities yesterday at two Buffalo elementary schools.

Exchange program. UB has established a comprehensive exchange program with Banaras Hindu University, one of India's leading comprehensive universities.

Improving care for African HIV patients. A University of Zimbabwe graduate student is the first from that university to visit UB as part of a collaborative program between the two institutions to improve the quality and distribution of treatments for HIV patients in developing nations.

What’s in a name? The UB Regional Institute's latest policy brief reports that using multiple names to define "Western New York" impedes the formation of a strong regional brand.

WBFO wins national awards. WBFO-FM 88.7 has won three first-place awards in the only national contest recognizing outstanding public radio news reporting at local stations.
