A TREE GROWS AT CITY HONORS. Sen. Survey to gather student systems info. The Student Services Assessment Project is looking for input from the university community as it conducts its ongoing evaluation of the information technology systems that support student academics and student life at UB, and explores ways to improve and integrate them.

UB on the Green. The lawn in front of Hayes Hall on the South Campus will be the site of summertime entertainment with the launching of UB on the Green, a series of free music-and-dance concerts.

Supporting work with industry. The UB Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology is funding university researchers working with 13 life sciences companies and organizations in Buffalo Niagara.

Tinnitus experts to gather at conference. Experts from around the world on tinnitus will gather at a UB-sponsored conference on Grand Island tomorrow through Sunday to discuss ways to treat the often disabling condition.

Bringing financial literacy to schools. The School of Management and M&T Bank are off to a good start in their effort to bring an innovative personal finance curriculum to area high schools.

Fact and fiction of trauma and PTSD. UB clinical psychologist Gayle Beck discussed a disorder that is often in the headlines—but had no official name until 20 years ago—at last week's UBThisSummer lecture.
