Celebrating excellence. UB faculty, staff and students were recognized for outstanding achievement at the annual Celebration of Academic Excellence.

Increased breast cancer risk. Women who had their tonsils removed in childhood may be at increased risk of developing premenopausal breast cancer, a study conducted by UB epidemiologists has found.
