Music department announces January concert schedule

The REBEL Ensemble for Baroque Music and UB faculty members Stephen Manes and Jacob Greenberg will perform this month as the Department of Music kicks off its concert schedule for the spring semester. » Full Story

Tuition guarantee proposed. SUNY Chancellor Robert L. King has announced a proposal that would freeze tuition for all resident undergraduates at the fall 2005 level.

Reitan named AAAS fellow. Paul Reitan, professor emeritus of geology, has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Traveling abroad to provide dental care. Students in the School of Dental Medicine are traveling abroad to help people in need of dental care as part of the dental school's Buffalo Outreach to Central America program.

Three named to Center for Inquiry posts. David Triggle, Peter Hare and John Corcoran have been named fellows—and Triggle has been appointed president of the educational arm—of the Center for Inquiry Transnational.
