WARM WISHES. Staffers in Facilities Operations have been working hard to keep members of the UB community toasty during this extraordinarily frigid weather. Dan Reilly, plant utilities assistant, checks to ensure the proper operation of feed pumps that supply water to two temporary boilers in the MacKay Heating Plant on the South Campus. Old cold-fired boilers have been removed at the plant and are being replaced with new, energy-efficient, gas-fired boilers. The temporary boilers are providing steam to the South Campus this winter. Successful rover landing could mean more interesting Mars landing sites
