UB Wellfest, the 13th annual health and wellness fair for faculty and staff, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Center for the Arts, North Campus.

Formerly known as Wellness Awareness Day, the free event is sponsored by Wellness and Work/Life Balance and Harmony Expositions, the leading worksite health-and-wellness company in Western New York.

The fair, which traditionally attracts between 1,000 to 2,000 faculty, staff and graduate students, will feature a variety of services focusing on the health and wellness of employees.

These include free flu shots and blood work (call 447-6205 to make an appointment); a farmers market offering fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and natural cosmetics for purchase; nutritious menu items from area eateries and food purveyors, including UB's own Campus Dining and Shops; fitness demonstrations; free chair massages; advice from healthy living, nutrition, medical and financial services experts; and numerous raffles and prizes.
