  • Corn on the cobb, squash, pumpkins, apples, pears, baked fall goods, Indian corn for decoration.

  • Interesting breads, like baguettes, breakfast breads, herb loafs, cinnamon breads, sourdough, pretzel breads, even danishes. For a city that loves food as much as Buffalo, I can’t find a brioche, croissant, etc. to save my life (OK, maybe these won’t really save my life, but you get the idea.) Wegmans isn’t the answer, and coffee bars stock nothing but stale biscotti and scones that would make the NHL proud.

  • Seasonal foods are always good. Like apples and cider now in the fall. Snacks you can eat on site, or better yet, take home and serve directly to guests for dessert. Like pies!

  • Anything in season, from vegetables to plants and flowers, to locally produced products like jam or baked goods. Should the vendor be a UB alum, all the better!

  • My wife and I have recently gotten into making our own yogurt, cheeses, breads and Kombucha tea, as well as growing a few veggies in the backyard. I’d love to come out and try some other local yogurts and cheeses, as well as anything else folks are doing for themselves! It always amazes me how easy healthy food is to make at home, and there’s always enough to share!
