  • I would have to say that I prefer the Sabres. I should qualify this with the fact that I have never been a football fan in general.

  • “Wide Right” or “No Goal”? Watching the Sabres throughout the long Buffalo winter versus watching the Bills throughout a couple of months in the fall? Since I was born in Canada and my father played minor league hockey when I was young, I’d have to go with the Sabres.

  • Sabres games are always fun. We eat at great restaurants close to the arena and attend the game without breaking the bank. The fans win because the Sabres put on a great show. You can be home at a reasonable hour or go out after the game. Because you can take Metro Rail and Metro Bus to the arena, there’s never a parking problem. Go Sabres!

Mary Greenberg says:

I grew up with football first, and then added in hockey as well. Skill and strategy? Give me some football. Entertainment, excitement and dramatic come from behind victories? Give me Hockey and the Sabres. I never owned a pair of zoobas, and I DO have a Sabres jersey..... So I suppose the score stands at Loyalty: Bills. Passion: Sabres. Either way, give me a "lets go buffalo" chant, and i'm happy!

Lois Baker says:

Come on, people! Football and the Bills are way more interesting that hockey and the Sabres! Plus the NFL season doesn't last FOR-EVER, like the NHL. Besides, being able to see professional athletes' physiques is more appealing that watching men in fat suits.
