  • A camping weekend in Letchworth, making a huge, first-day-back-to-school breakfast, finishing off the last of the blueberries and throwing away my (unfinished) summer to-do list.

  • Back-to-school time brings up memories of buying new clothes and shoes with my mom and sisters. I went to a Catholic grade school and every so often we were allowed to deviate from the uniform, which was great! Even though I am no longer a full-time student, at this time of year I am still inclined to get something new!

  • Getting ready for football! Our fall calendar revolves around the schedules (school and sports). My son plays high school football on Friday nights. His team gathers at a local fire hall on Thursdays for a spaghetti dinner and pep talk from the coaches. We also get together with friends to watch the Bills on TV throughout the season.

  • We push to make sure we have one last summer outdoor experience together by enjoying a family hike, bike or swim.
