What has most surprised you about this summer’s weather in Western New York?

  • The long strings of beautiful, hot days we have enjoyed have surprised me most. Last year’s summer was not as consistently nice, but this year’s has been perfect for whatever we have wanted to do. We have enjoyed every minute!

  • How long the stretch of sunny, hot and humid weather has lasted. Usually we have only a handful of days like this all summer. After enduring our long, cold winters, I welcome this amazingly warm weather!

  • It’s been too sticky for me. I’m surprised at how wrong the weather forecasters have been. They seem to always miss the mark. Last weekend, I rented a cottage at Crystal Beach and was expecting at least two days of rain and we didn’t have any!
