  • At home, because I’ve heard bad stories about the damage that drive-throughs can do to cars.

  • Though I have hand-washed my car once this summer, out of sheer laziness I usually just let Mother Nature wash it for me.

  • I wash the car once a year in the winter, when the salt gets so thick you can’t see out the windows. The problem I run into is that the deer start to lick the salt off if I go too long in between washings.

Robert Finton says:

I don't wash my car, because I don't have a car.

Driving causes tens of thousands of deaths each year in the U.S., environmental destruction from carbon dioxide emissions, and political mayhem when we must import oil from our adversaries.

So, please stop asking trivial questions like "Where do you wash your car?"

And start asking pertinent questions, such as "What will it take for you to give up your (wretched) car?"
