  • Seeing my old college friends the first weekend of every June. We’re at that point where we've known each other more than half our lives. Those enduring bonds are priceless.

  • As a kid, I grew up one block from the community pool. I went there almost every afternoon and night with my friend and still have the freckles to show for it. We had water races, made up synchronized swimming routines and played imaginative underwater games. When we moved to Buffalo, we chose a home that is three blocks from a neighborhood pool. I’m looking forward to watching my two pre-school children enjoy summer water play, as they are just learning to swim.

  • The end of the spring semester at the university brings anticipation for nice weather and a chance to get outdoors. Summer is a great time to tour our beautiful country. Our favorite spot is Lake Tahoe, with its crystal clear lake and scenic splendor. From there, we like to travel the west to include as many of the national parks as we can. The natural beauty and quiet peacefulness of nighttime in the parks is very relaxing.
