LeAdelle Phelps, professor of counseling, school and educational psychology in the Graduate School of Education, is the 2010 recipient of the Trainers of School Psychologists’ Outstanding Contribution to Training Award. The award is presented to school psychologists who, throughout their careers, have demonstrated exceptional contributions to training issues that merit special recognition. The award will be presented March 2 at the National Conference on Contemporary Issues in School Psychology Education and Training, sponsored by the Trainers of School Psychologists/Council of Directors of School Psychology Programs. The meeting is being held in Chicago in conjunction with the national meeting of the National Association of School Psychologists.

Kah Kyung Cho, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Department of Philosophy, has been appointed by the Korean Philosophical Association to the international Board of Trustees of World Philosophy, an international English language journal of philosophy.
