Honorees

President John B. Simpson, Provost Satish K. Tripathi and Jorge José, vice president for research, hosted a reception on Sept. 23 designed to recognize and honor faculty who have brought important distinction to UB during the past two years.

The reception recognized faculty members holding the highest totals among UB faculty in extramural grant funding, recently appointed SUNY Distinguished Professors, members of the National Academies and faculty who recently were awarded special distinguished nomination awards or junior career awards.
