UB Work Study Program

UBCCC also partners with the UB Work Study Program, and offers positions to UB students during the academic year. (Click the link to be connected to the UB Work Study website. Be aware that you must receive a work study award letter prior to working.)

Work Study students provide the same coverage as substitute teachers.

Work Study students usually cover lunch breaks (between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.), afternoons (between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.), vacations, leaves and call-outs. Work Study students may also provide coverage in the kitchen and at the front desk.

We are looking for the following positions:

  • Classroom assistant - students assisting in the classroom provide the same coverage as substitute teachers assist in any of our infant (6 weeks - 18 months), toddler (18 months - 3 years old) or preschool (3 - 5 years old) classrooms.
  • Office assistant - assist with filing paperwork, answering telephones and visitor sign-in.
  • Kitchen assistant - assist in the kitchen with dishes and cleaning toys and equipment.
