Name, Gender Identity & Pronouns
Students can use their HUB Student Center to update their preferred / chosen name, gender identity or pronouns.
Log into MyUB and click on HUB Student Center
1. Log in to MyUB. On the HUB Student Center homepage, select the “Profile” tab.

2. On the “Personal Details (Names)” page, click the plus (+) button inside of the Names section to add or update a preferred name.
3. Enter the preferred/chosen first and middle (optional) name. Students are not able to update their last name on this screen. Click “Save” when complete.
4. The preferred/chosen name is now active, and the user will be brought back to the “Personal Details (Name)” page.

2. On the “Personal Details (Names)” page, select the “Biographic” tab.
3. Click on either the “Pronouns” or “Gender Identity” option to edit or change that field. Neither field is required.
4. For “Pronouns”, choose the selected value from the drop down. If the student chooses “Other” a free-form text box will appear. Click save when the selection is made. Follow the same instructions for gender identity.
5. Confirm the selection after clicking save.
