UB Prehealth 101 Online Workshop

Prehealth 101 is an online workshop, accessed through UB Learns. It is the starting point for students new to pursuing a career as a doctor, dentist, physician assistant, veterinarian, optometrist, or podiatrist.

To meet with a prehealth advisor at UB, a student must first complete all modules of the Prehealth 101 workshop.

New students to UB who expressed an interest in prehealth (either on the Orientation form or through our Getting Started page) will be contacted via their UB email accounts with information about how to access Prehealth 101 through UB Learns by the end of September for students starting in a fall semester and by the end of February for students starting in a spring semester.

Prehealth 201 Online Workshop

If you completed the Prehealth 101 workshop and are continuing to pursue your goal of a professional health career (medicine, dentistry, veterinary, physician assistant, optometry, or podiatry), complete this online workshop to learn about all the unique considerations that prehealth students should be contemplating. Topics such as clinical experience, GPA patterns and trends, recommendation letters, and more will be discussed. Use this workshop to stay on track toward your goals and identify which aspects of your application need further development.

Students who previously completed Prehealth 101 will automatically be added to Prehealth 201 in UBLearns by the end of September.
