Program Description

This micro-credential from the Department of Music in the College of Arts and Sciences is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to maintain, repair and tune pianos. You will be prepared for employment as a piano technician or for advanced study in piano technology by focusing on a three-pronged set of skills in piano tuning and development of intonation competency, regulation and the basic techniques of piano repair.
