TRAVL advances pedestrian safety research through immersive virtual and physical simulations, enabling innovative insights into human behavior, mobility and interactions with transportation infrastructure.

TRAVL made improvements to their driving simulator that is used to test the reaction of human drivers in common roadway situations. 

Attendees at the Transportation Research Board meeting explored how virtual simulation is being used to better understand the behaviors and experiences of non-drivers.

The Transportation Board meeting is hosting a conference from January 11^th to 15^th, 2026. During the 5-day meeting, CSEE will present their research on the topic of driving anxiety.
