GLP's primary function is to provide education on the preservation and protection of the Great Lakes ecosystem. The associate director and New York Sea Grant representative will work with students and teachers to help disseminate information on the Great Lakes.

The Engineering Sciences MS with a focus on Engineering Sustainability introduces students to the process of designing or operating systems to use energy and natural resources in a cost-effective manner that does not compromise the natural environment, social equity or the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This program develops the next generation of sustainable engineering leadership.
