The 36-credit program, jointly offered by UB's School of Public Health and Health Professions and the School of Architecture and Planning, combines courses in epidemiology, global health, program planning and evaluation, international development, urban planning and environmental design. Its close association with UB's Community of Excellence in Global Health Equity provides opportunities for hands-on field placements around the world where you can work on water and sanitation, food and nutrition, health in resource-poor settings and other important topics that affect populations across the globe.
This program is officially registered with the New York State Education Department (SED).
Online programs/courses may require students to come to campus on occasion. Time-to-degree and number of credit hours may vary based on full/part time status, degree, track and/or certification option chosen. Time-to-degree is based on calendar year(s). Contact the department for details.
