How to Run a SIRI Report to Identify Active Students and Registration Status

Use this query to:

  • Identify students with active program status and those on an approved leave of absence.
  • Identify whether students are registered or not registered in a particular term.
  • Identify student’s admit term, cumulative GPA, credits attempted in this particular term.
  • Results also include gender, UB email address, service indicators and expected graduation term.

How to Run the Query

  1. Log in into SIRI.
  2. Click on the “Dashboards” drop-down menu and select “Student” under Student Dashboards.
  3. Expand the “Term” folder.
  4. Select the preset query “Students by Term and Primary Program/Plan With Admit Term and Registration Status”.
  5. The “Term” value corresponds to the semester you are looking for to determine registration status; usually the current term is selected.
  6. Select “Graduate” for the Career Value.
  7. Select the appropriate “Program Description” for your program(s)—allows for multiple selections.
  8. Select the appropriate “Academic Plan” for your program(s)—allows for multiple selections.
  9. Leave “4 Digit Admit Term” blank/unselected so that the query will yield all possible results.
  10. Click on “OK” to generate SIRI report.
  11. Data can be viewed on screen or downloaded by selecting the “Export” option at the bottom left of the screen.
