University at Buffalo officials are reviewing the executive order (Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States) announced today by the Trump administration and they are assessing its potential impact on students, faculty, staff and visiting scholars.

As the university learns more about the impact of the executive order, we will continue to assist members of the university community who need guidance and support. Additional updates will be posted to www.buffalo.edu/immigration-update.

“Regardless whether current and pending executive actions affect access to the U.S. for anyone from designated countries, UB is a welcoming campus for students, faculty and visitors from across the globe, and is committed to remaining so,” said UB President Satish K. Tripathi.
