BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo's mini-veterinary program for pet owners and ways to keep fit are two of the features set to air next month on "UB Today," UB's cable television program.

The half-hour show, aired monthly on Adelphia and TCI cable channels, highlights activities, programs and projects featuring UB faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Each new show is rebroadcast several times during the month. Hosts are William J. Evitts, executive director of alumni relations, and Judith Schwendler, assistant director.

January's lineup will feature the UB Fit program with Edward Michael, assistant athletic director; UB alumnus James Brown, D.V.M., on the new mini-vet school course, and Burt Notarius, president of Prime Wines Corp., on the upcoming Spanish wine festival at UB, and Voldemar Innus, UB's chief information officer and senior associate vice president for university services, on the approaching year 2000 and how the date change may pose a problem for computers.
