Carol S. Brewer Global Health Fund
The Carol S. Brewer Global Health Fund helps School of Nursing students and faculty provide care and services to international populations, including immigrants and refugees in the United States.
Recently, an anonymous donor’s gift has created an endowed fund to support our international health outreach and scholarly activity. A gift from you will make it even more far-reaching.
The fund will enhance school efforts to improve global health: educating others about health issues in the U.S. and other countries, fostering our understanding of other cultures, and providing service-learning and research opportunities abroad to students and faculty members.
Funds also can be allocated for supplies and equipment, and for student travel. Nursing faculty with international research programs may apply for partial support of their work abroad.
