The Professional Staff Senate’s Sustainable Living Committee sponsored a free electronics recycling event Sept. 18 at the Center for Tomorrow. There was also a food drive for UB’s Blue Table food pantry and clothing and sporting goods collections for off-campus agencies. There were 21 pallets of electronics collected, a net volume of 11,134 lbs of material diverted from landfills. With 10 PSS Sustainable Living Committee volunteers and 11 volunteers from UB Athletics student-athletes and staff, many hands made light work!
