    The CAS Experiential Learning Fund supports CAS students seeking funding toward experiential learning opportunities including study abroad, internships, research and fieldwork with faculty.
  • U.S. Teaching Assistantships at Austrian Secondary Schools

    Each year, more than 140 college graduates from the United States teach in Austria under the auspices of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education (BMB) Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship Program. The purpose of this program, which draws assistants not only from the English-speaking world but also from France, Italy, Russia, and Spain, is to bring talented and enthusiastic young people from abroad into the classrooms of secondary schools in communities large and small all over Austria. Teaching contracts last from October through May and assistants receive a monthly stipend.
  • Graduate Fellowships for STEM Diversity (GFSD)

    The Graduate Fellowships for STEM Diversity (GFSD) is a partnership between government agencies and laboratories, industry, and higher education. GFSD's goal is to increase the number of American citizens with graduate degrees in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool. The fellowship lasts for up to six years, provides a $20,000 annual stipend, covers tuition, and includes the possibility of a paid internship with a government agency, in addition to providing mentorship.
  • NYS Science Policy Fellowship

    The New York State Science Policy Fellowship transitions PhDs in science, technology, and engineering into high-level public sector roles in New York State’s executive and legislative branches, with the goal of bringing subject matter expertise to New York State leaders and providing those with techno-scientific expertise hands-on experience in policymaking. It supports this goal by providing early career science, technology, and engineering scholars training on how policy is developed and implemented at the state level, and educational programming on the challenges related to the intersection of governance and techno-scientific expertise more broadly.

  • National Science Foundation Computer and Information Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowships Program

    The Computer and Information Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowships (CSGrad4US) program aims to increase the number and diversity of domestic graduate students pursuing careers in computer and information science and engineering fields.
  • Amgen Scholars Program

    The Amgen Scholars Program provides hundreds of selected undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in a hands-on research experience at many of the world’s leading educational institutions. The Program seeks to increase learning and networking opportunities for students committed to pursuing science or engineering careers and to spark the interest and broaden the perspective of students considering scientific careers. Amgen Scholars is hosted at thirteen premier educational institutions within the United States. Each host institution has its own application process, and you can apply to participate at as many host institutions as you are interested in.
  • Clarke DS Fellowship

    The William D. Clarke, Sr. Diplomatic Security Fellowship is a two-year graduate fellowship program funded by the US Department of State provides up to $84,000 in academic funding over two years; two summer practicums (a domestic practicum in Washington, DC with the Diplomatic Security Service, and an overseas practicum at a US Embassy or Consulate abroad); and personalized mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals

    The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals, between the ages of 18½–24, the opportunity to spend one year in each other’s countries, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program.
  • Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF)

    The Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) is one the Cultural Services of the French Embassy’s longest running and most sought-after programs. Each year, TAPIF places around 1,300 Americans into French public schools to work as English language teaching assistants for 12 hours a week.
