Emily is the Exchange Student Advisor and Operations Coordinator

Emily is excited to join the Office of Education Abroad, bringing a background in student support, advocacy, and cross-cultural engagement. She holds a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in international relations. Before transitioning to higher education at the University at Buffalo, Emily worked with immigrant and refugee populations in Washington D.C. as well as Western New York. Her experiences living and volunteering in India and Nepal fostered a lasting appreciation for cultural exchange, and the transformative impact of international education.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys distance running, traveling, cooking, horseback riding, and discovering new places through local food and culture.
