Grace Czech

My name is Grace, and I am a sophomore studying Biochemistry. My study abroad experience started in January of 2025, where I participated in the First-Year Global Experience in Costa Rica! I chose to be a global ambassador because I want to help answer questions for prospective study abroad students, as well as promote the study abroad programs that UB has to offer! I would love to help other students have a great experience abroad, as I did!

Olivia Dinero

Hello! My name is Olivia Dinero and I am a senior at UB majoring in pre-law and minoring in sociology! I studied abroad in London during the spring semester of 2025! I chose to become a Global Ambassador because I believe that every student should have the opportunity to study abroad. Studying abroad was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, helping me to grow personally, and professionally. Everyone should have the chance to explore new cultures as it broadens your perspective, builds empathy, and helps you grow in unexpected ways. I want to help other students at UB experience this for themselves and support them in making their study abroad dreams a reality!

Nora Gross

Hi! My name is Nora and I am a junior. I am a Media Studies and Political Science major and I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for the spring 2025 semester. I chose to be a Global Ambassador because I wanted to share my experience studying abroad with people thinking about study abroad. I always knew I wanted to study abroad, but there were a lot of unknowns, so I want to be a good resource for people who are nervous or want to know more about the experience. I definitely think everyone should study abroad, if they can, and I would love to help someone make decisions about where they want to go or what they want to do!
