The Lovell Laboratory examines new approaches for drug, imaging agent and protein formulation. This includes development of: (1) light responsive drug delivery carriers; (2) "surfactant-stripped" micelles with high cargo-to-excipient ratios, and (3) spontaneously formed protein nanoparticles for vaccine applications.
