New to UB?
If you’re a high school senior or transfer student, your first step is to apply to the University at Buffalo.
When completing your application, select philosophy as your intended major (or the Biological Sciences minor). For details about deadlines, requirements and application steps, visit the Undergraduate Admissions website.
Already a UB student?
Want to add or switch to a philosophy major or minor?
Submit the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form to request one of the following changes to your academic plan:
- Add a major, minor, or certificate in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Drop any major
- Drop any minor
