UB Art Galleries support art and ideas that are urgent and relevant to our time and place. We advance art as both inquiry and creative practice available to everyone.
Our work depends on the generosity of supporters who believe in our mission and our role as a resource for the University at Buffalo, the city, and our region. As part of the University at Buffalo, gifts in support of UB Art Galleries are made through the University at Buffalo Foundation.
Your gift to the Education Fund supports free and low-cost programming that makes art accessible to UB students, K–12 groups, families, and the broader Western New York community. Funds go directly toward education programming and workshop fees — from artist-led workshops and lectures to hands-on artmaking events and professional development opportunities. Past programs supported by this fund include the Echoes workshop and lecture series (pictured above), student-led tours, artmaking activities, and professional development workshops for educators and arts practitioners.
Your gift to the UB Galleries General Operations Fund helps keep our two locations — UB Anderson Gallery and UB CFA Gallery — running year-round. Support from this fund sustains exhibition programming, collections care, community access, and the day-to-day work of a university art museum committed to free admission for all.
