U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand visited UB to speak about the Cyber Service Academy scholarship program and the importance of educating the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

The new building will support students and programs in the rapidly growing School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Lewis has been elected to serve as a director on the American Society for Engineering Education’s Engineering Deans Council Executive Board.

Kemper Lewis, professor and dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the world’s largest general science society.
