The Computational and Data-Enabled Science and Engineering (CDSE) Ph.D. program is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program that integrates the core areas of data science, numerical algorithms, and high-performance computing toward research and discovery building on a graduate student’s domain science/discipline.
The Master's of Professional Studies in Data Sciences and Applications program will train students in analytics, including standard methods in data mining and machine learning, so they will possess the expertise to obtain insights from large and heterogeneous data sets.
This Engineering Sciences MS with a course focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a 1 and 1/2 year (30 credit hour) multidisciplinary program. It is designed to train students in the areas of machine learning, programming languages that are needed to design intelligent agents, deep learning algorithms, and advanced artificial neural networks that use predictive analytics to solve real-world problems.
This program provides students with a core foundation in big data and analysis by obtaining knowledge, expertise, and training in data collection and management, data analytics, scalable data-driven discovery, and fundamental concepts.
