Any high school woman interested in pursuing STEM degrees should just go for it and try it. College is where you explore what you really want to do and even if you end up switching out of a STEM degree, it would still add to your experience as a person and you know match for you. There might be people around you who might make you doubt or have a second thought about pursuing a STEM degree but it's your decision to make for yourself.
It's ok to not know exactly what you want to do with your major or area of study. There is still plenty of time to explore what you want to do and to change your path if you want to. Imposter syndrome is something that often holds people back from opportunities and I think that a little bit of confidence in yourself can go a long way, so you should try to do everything even if you feel unqualified or out of place for it yet, because you won't know until you try.
