Virtual architecture center gets grant. A team of faculty members in the School of Architecture and Planning have been awarded a $553,045 federal research grant to develop educational materials that use advanced media to teach important building principles to architecture students.

Senate discusses videotaping in classroom. The Faculty Senate Executive Committee yesterday discussed the videotaping—without permission—of faculty members as they teach classes, an issue that is emerging as a problem for some instructors.
